Science Fair Grades 6, 7 & 8
As part of the EnrichIt! program at MAC Maple Grove School, we had our first senior science fair held on March 31, 2015 alhamdulillah. We want to congratulate the participating students for all their hard work and efforts. The science fair is an integral part of inquiry-based learning. Such events encourage creative thinking and allow the students to explore topics they might not necessarily get to explore within the classroom environment. It also teaches them the scientific process of formulating a hypothesis, completing the experiment, recording observations and finally deriving a conclusion.
Three professionals from the community judged the science fair projects. They were Br. Omer Thai, Dr. Wegdan Abdelsalam and Sr. Nisreen Alhalimi who judged the students based on specific academic criteria.
